BIESZCZADY

Bieszczady is one of the most interesting regions in Poland. It is located far away from civilization, on the south-eastern edge of Poland and has astonishing glowering charm. The forests of Bieszczady are inhabited by wolves, bears, wisents (European bison) and deer, as well as very rare eagle. Bieszczady National Park covers a large part of this region.

WHAT ATTRACTS THE FRIENDS OF BIESZCZADY TO THIS PLACE?

This is a special landscape, mostly mountainous but very gentle at the same time. The most characteristic are its pastures - and vast meadows in the mountains. Thanks to these vast meadows (Polonina) the hiking in Bieszczady is very simple and very attractive.
